Woodford Reserve is a super-small, high-volume bourbon that has its roots in the Labrot & Graham Distillery (circa 1812), a national historic monument located in the bluegrass region of central Kentucky. This award-winning spirit has more than 200 years of know-how in the field of bourbon. The Woodford Reserve is an acid-quenching quagmire made in Kentucky's oldest distillery. It is the only bourbon that is triple distilled in copper stills, ancestral production method. It is then aged in new charred American oak casks, in aging stone warehouses that line Glenn's Creek. The success of Woodford Reserve is due to the bourbon itself and the enlightened judgment of master distiller Chris Morris. He has developed an international fame, culminating in the coveted gold medal awards at the London International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2001, the gold medal at the 2003 London International Spirit Competition, and the the double gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in 2000, 2001 and 2005. - the only bourbon to achieve this goal.
