The Dura Ace R9100 C24 laminate clincher wheel from Shimano designed to meet pro race criteria. The Dura Ace R9100 features a 20.8m wide to keep weight to a minimum whilst retaining rigidity and strength. The wheels use a patented phosphoric bonding process to bond the two parts of the wheel tighter, the rim also compatible with 700c tubular tyres. The wheel is laced with 20 stainless steel spoke on the rear to a wide spaced flanged hub giving great lateral stiffness. The labyrinth double sealed hubs keep moister and dirt out whilst the integrated Borzon steel races reduce rolling resistance. The hub body is made from cold forged aluminium with 7075 axle keeping wheel weight averaging 585 grams.
