The Makita EK6100 Disc Cutter replaces the DPC6430, this new model weighs 1.2 kg less than its predecessor. The new Makita EK6100 2-cycle gas disc cutter features a powerful, low-emission engine. The 12-inch EK6100 is equipped with a 61 cc engine providing 4.2 hp. The EK6100 model, which uses a 305 millimeter diameter dial for a maximum cutting depth of 110 EK6100, has the smallest overall profile of any disc cutter on the market. This makes the Makita EK6100 an agile and handy machine for tight spaces. The low-emission engine benefits from laminate air scavenging technology and a clean exhaust system that protects both the operator and the environment. The machine has been developed in accordance with all known regulations on exhaust emissions. The exit of the exhaust gas is directed to the cutting point to improve the vision of the material by the operator.
